Reactive safety lighting for electric unicycles & PEVs

One connected ride.
Not four gadgets.

Your wheel already knows when you brake, turn, or hit a hazard. LumpiApp takes that and makes your lights react on their own — brake flares red, a lean signals a turn, a honk strobes a warning — with a live ride dashboard on your phone and watch. The prototype rides today; pre-orders for the first batch are coming soon.

What it does

Lights that react so you don't have to think about them.

A small smart module reads the wheel over Bluetooth and answers in light — automatically, the moment it matters. This part isn't a promise; it rides today.

Brake → red

Slow down and your brake light flares, so the rider behind reads it instantly.

Lean → amber

Lean into a turn and an amber signal blinks the direction — no buttons, no fuss.

Honk → strobe

Hit the horn and the lights strobe a warning, turning a sound into something people see.

The bigger idea

Your gear is a pile of gadgets. We make it one connected ride.

A serious rider carries a small stack of tech — the wheel, lights, maybe a camera, a heads-up display, a comms headset, the gear itself. Today none of it talks to each other. LumpiApp is the layer that connects them: the wheel already knows what's happening, and LumpiApp speaks that one truth to everything else on the ride at once. One language, one ride.

It's the same move CarPlay made for the car — not another gadget on the dashboard, but the connective layer that makes what you already own work together. Some of it rides today; the rest is the direction we're building toward, described honestly as a roadmap, not a shipped promise.

The lineup

Start with one piece. Grow the kit over time.

Every piece is built on industry-standard, pre-certified modules and speaks the same language, so it just works with the rest.

SERO — the star

The smart module that makes the ride reactive. Hold it in your hand, wear it on your wrist, or clip it to a socket-mount on your gear or wheel. One brain, three ways to carry it.

POKEET — the on-ramp

The budget way in: a simpler, lower-cost module with a small display, so a new rider can get reactive safety lighting without buying the flagship first.

👓

PILIK — the HUD

A transparent heads-up display we're designing to put what matters — speed, a live turn signal, a hazard — in your line of sight, so you read the ride without looking down.

🛠️

Hero SERO — the dev-kit

A maker's carrier that the SERO brain seats into, breaking out servos, sensors, extra light channels and more — the board you build your own Lumpi.app-powered device on.

For makers · roadmap

Only SERO's reactive lighting rides today. POKEET, PILIK and Hero SERO are the lineup we're building toward — a direction, not a set of dates or promises.

For developers

Build on Lumpi.app.

Lumpi.app isn't just a light — it's a small, honest platform for reactive gear. Here's what you get to build against.

🛠️

The Hero SERO dev-kit

A carrier board that seats the SERO brain and breaks out a menu of hardware — servos, sensors, light channels, an I2C backbone — so you can prototype your own device on a brain that already speaks the ride. A maker dev-kit we're designing; it doesn't exist yet.

On-device effect authoring

Author your own lighting effects and tune how the ride looks, right from the app — no toolchain, no reflash. This part is live.

The community-effects pipeline

Author an effect, submit it for approval, and share it with other riders. A simple, moderated way for the community to make the lineup its own.

The device-capability model

Each device tells the app what it can actually do, and the app shows only the controls that apply. Add a capability and the right UI appears — no app update per accessory. It's the contract an add-on builds against.

For partners

Design and sell your own Lumpi.app-powered lineup.

We're building Lumpi.app to plug into the gear riders already trust — and to let other makers build on it too.

License the platform

Design and sell your own reactive, Lumpi.app-powered products — built on the same brain, the same app, the same connected ride.

Modular add-ons

Build a snap-on accessory or a lighting-enabled part against a published interface, so it works with the ride without touching our silicon.

Multi-maker collab

Helmets, HUDs, comms, cameras, protective gear, accessories — if it rides, it can speak the same language. A concept we're opening, not a deal we're claiming.

No partner is signed yet — and we won't pretend otherwise.

Everything above is a direction we're building toward. If you make gear for riders, the honest version of where we are lives behind sign-in.
